What Causes Depression?
Depression is caused by a number of factors; biological, environment, social and emotional.
Life is naturally filled with ups and downs, events and experiences which impact how you feel. It’s natural to feel sad, upset or a little low at times especially after a traumatic experience or event such as divorce, death of a loved one, redundancy, relationship breakdown, childhood experiences or stressful events. When you do not have the inner resources to deal with these experiences or feelings they can manifest into depression.
Symptoms of depression include:
- Constant feeling and sense of sadness, anxiety, and emptiness
- Feeling emotional and crying a lot
- Poor focus and decision-making
- Negative self-talk and self-belief
- Losing connection with people
- Feeling hopeless, restless and pessimistic
- Losing interests in hobbies, friends or work
- Reduced sex drive
- Feeling tired, fatigued, with little or no energy
- Sleeping too much or insomnia
- Losing appetite or eating too much

Depression Hypnotherapy and NLP Coaching
My Depression Treatment Hypnotherapy & NLP Sessions combine modern day therapeutic approaches, tools and techniques such as Hypnosis, NLP Coaching, mindfulness, mind and body connection and NLP. It is a structured step-by-step approach to help you to overcome and manage depression effectively.
You will discover the relationship between mind and body, resolve underlying issues and develop and enhance the wealth of assets and inner resources within you. As a result you will build a calmer, centred, stronger and more confident you, so that you are better equipped to experience your life with emotional and mental strength.
The work we do is experiential which means we don’t just talk about the changes you want, rather I take you through a process which allows you to embody the changes you want through your actions, emotions, communications and behavioural patterns.
After each session you will start to gain control over your life, feel more motivated and energised and learn how to manage life’s natural ups and down by developing your inner resources and skills to overcome depression.

I really do understand how Depression can hold you back from living a happy, fulfilled and satisfying life. During my late teens and early adult life I suffered from Depression and suicidal tendencies. It held me back in my relationships, social life and work.
